Sunrise in Mount Zin

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

Top AirVuz contributor Ori Feldman brings us this excellent sunrise view of a famous spot in the desert of southern Israel.  It's called Mt. Zin, and it's located in the Negev Desert, in the downward-pointed arrow which southern Israel resembles on a map.  It is thought by some biblical scholars that the mountain is the Mt. Hor referenced in the Bible, the place where the high priest Aaron was buried during the Jews' years of wandering in the desert.  The mountain has an elevation of about 900 ft. above sea level or around 275 m.

BADGES THIS VIDEO HAS EARNED:

Mount Zin is one of the iconic mountains in the Israeli desert, as seen during a summer sunrise.

On the south-east side of the mountain, there exists a field with special 'bulbus' round rocks, creating both a unique and a spectacular view.
