30813, GA 30813 The Maize at Steed’s Dairy (Grovetown, GA) opened to the public for the first time in the fall of 2010. While there were once over 40 dairy farms in Columbia County Georgia alone, the city grew up around it, and Steed’s Dairy was the last remaining dairy farm in both Columbia and Richmond Counties. The maize this year celebrated the Championship victories of the MLB Atlanta Braves and NCAA Georgia Bulldogs.
