The Pearl Islands is an archipelago of roughly 200 islands, many uninhabited, on Panama's southern (Pacific Ocean) side, in the Gulf of Panama. The partiticular island filmed is Saboga Island, which is one of the larger islands at the northern end of the archipelago. Like the other Pearl islands, Saboga has been developed as a resort and vacation home destination location.
