One Day Trip to Cappadocia.

Former Drone Video of the Week Finalist kino-team brings us this excellent drone video from the Cappadocia region of central Turkey. The side trip from Istanbul was originally intended to film the region's famous hot air balloons, but windy weather kept the balloons grounded. Instead, the focus of the video is the ground scenery which is the raison d'être for the world-reknowned ballooning scene: the rock "fairy tale" castles which cover much of the region, which are a product of some unique rock formation and erosion processes.

Once in Istanbul, Turkey, we decided to suddenly go to Cappadakia for a few days to see how balloons fly, but we were unlucky with the weather and the balloons did not fly because of the weather because it was very windy. We shot a few shots of the city, looked around, had a delicious meal and left back because we had a busy schedule.
