Mesa de los Tres Reyes

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : AirVuz contributor Paco Ferrando brings us this excellent drone video of a well-known mountain in the Pyrenees Mountains. It's called Mesa de los Tres Reyes, and its peak is located in the Chartered Community of Navarre, in the northern part of the country. With a peak altitude of just under 8k ft. above sea level (just over 2.4k m), its name translates to the Table of the Three Kings. This is in reference to the fact that the mountain once covered parts of three kingdoms: Navarre, Aragon, and the French kingdom of Béarn.

La Mesa de los Tres Reyes o en Euskera Hiru Erregeen Mahaia, toma este nombre porque es el punto de unión entre la actual provincia de Huesca, Navarra y el estado Francés. Antiguamente la unión entre los antiguos reinos de Aragón, Navarra y Francia. Con sus 2.444 metros de altitud, es el pico más alto de Navarra y también el pico más alto de Euskal Herria.
