Amazing Medieval Fortress in the Sea

Brand-new contributor AFPHOTOLAB brings us this excellent drone video of tiny island in the Gulf of Naples in Italy's Campania region.  The islet is called the Rock of Rovigliano, and it's located in the commune of Torre Annunziata, just a bit south of the city of Naples.  Known during the Antiquity as the Rock of Hercules, the island has served as a Roman temple, a private residence, and a monastery.  The structure which currently sits atop the island is a 16th century fortress, constructed to defend against Arab pirate raids.
