The video was filmed over the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, a massive territory which covers the entire northwestern portion of the country. Xinjiang covers an area of about 642k square mi. (almost 1.7mm square km), including a key stretch of the historic Silk Road. The video includes footage of the cities of Tekesi and Bagua, Sayram Lake, Karajun Prairie, the exotic Pamir Plateau, and the Tian Shan and Kunlun Mountains.
