White Shepherd | DJI Phantom 4 (120fps)

Meet Luna; a powerful, strong and beautiful puppy, enjoying herself at the beach in Brazil. Come explode with joy and happiness on this short film that was as much fun to make as to watch! As I wanted to try the 120fps on the Phantom 4, had the idea of seeing my dog's acts in slow motion, which end up being super joyful. This short film was filmed entirely on my DJI Phantom 4, over one afternoon and one morning at the beach and dunes of my home town Cabo Frio - Brazil. Filming an overactive White Shepherd in movement, having fun at the beach, was very challenging - actually wasn't easy at all! - especially when she would try to bite the drone flying right in front of her; which made me fly away a bunch of times, resulting in me not getting to finish the shot I had planned. Luna's safety always come first, so I was always ready to abort any great shots when she was approaching the drone flying low. Also for safety reasons, some of the shots on this video were filmed with the drone in my hands with propellers off. Just for precaution, as Luna is crazy for a flying thing, which could be a bird, a leaf or even the drone. The idea was to make a longer film, with more diversity of shots, but I crashed my drone at a farm a few days after I filmed this. So... I worked with what I had. Thanks for my sound engineer and girlfriend again for helping me on this video... And this goes from running with the dog everywhere at the beach, to helping to recorded Luna's panting at the end of the video. This short film eternalizes Luna, my White Shepherd. A great and beautiful dog who loves water, beach, a lot of fun and a good run... who we both love very much!
