Vasco da Gama Bridge - Lisbon, Portugal

Check out this fantastic drone video of one of the wonders of modern Portugal, compliments of contributor flymydr8ne.  It's the Vasco de Gama Bridge, which spans a much wider part of the Tagus estuary than Lisbon's first span, the 25 de Abril Bridge. Opened in 1998, it's the second longest bridge in Europe: 12.3 km (7.7 mi.) end-to-end.  It's an engineering marvel for another reason, too: it's built to withstand an earthquake up to 5x bigger than the monster which nearly destroyed the city in 1755.
