EXPLORING LISBON

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : For a two minute aerial tour/VLOG of the great Portuguese city of Lisbon, it's tough to beat this one by AirVuz contributor and pilot Rein Martens. It combines ground footage, drone footage, and some very skillful editing to give you a feel for this amazing city on the western fringe of Europe. The video contains bird's eye views of Commerce Square in the heart of the city, the amazing Vasco de Gama Bridge over the Tagus River, and the Atlantic coast just west of the city.

A few weeks ago I went to Lisbon/Cascais for 5 days, I was able to stay at a friend's house and together we explored the city. This is what went on: We got of the plane, bought some train tickets and made our way to the centre. First off, we walked across the Rossio square. Then we decided to go for a drink. After a beautiful day in Lisbon, we went back to Hugo's house. Then we had the idea to wake up at 5:00 AM to film the sunrise. We were able to catch the last sunlight of the day, but unfortunately the drone didn't want to take off. On the last day we got to explore some of Portugals nature.
