Val Malvaglia (Ticino, Switzerland)

The Malvaglia Valley, which starts from the large municipality of the same name on the left bank of the Blenio Valley (at an altitude of 385 meters) and reaches 2,110 meters on the Alpe di Quarnei at the foot of the Adula massif (3,402 meters ), is a real natural, landscape and architectural jewel. Just to safeguard these peculiarities, the whole Valley is included in the "Inventory of landscapes and natural monuments of national importance". Visiting the Malvaglia Valley is one of those experiences that remain in the memory and that arouse unforgettable emotions in the attentive and sensitive visitor or hiker. The landscape is in fact still almost intact, in some ways wild (just think of the small lateral valleys like Val Combra).
