The imposing grandeur of the Dolomites in northeastern Italy were captured in epic style by contributor and pilot Koorosh using his DJI Phantom 4 Pro drone. With rotating backdrops of both fog and blue sky, the rugged landscape of this eastern portion of the Alps is juxtaposed by the quaint churches and elegant castles which adorn its foothills. The video was filmed in Italy's South Tyrol province, the northern half of its Trentino-Alto-Adigio region which had been part of Austria-Hungary prior to World War I.
