Known variously as Church of Christ's Resurrection or Foros Church, it is located just outside of the town of Yalta. Perched on a cliff in the mountains which run parallel to the peninsula's southeastern coastline, the church affords spectacular views of the Black Sea. Consecrated in 1892, the church was built to celebrate the miraculous survival of the Imperial Family in a 1888 train crash.
