Tajikistan: Bartang Valley

Top contributor Boyanoo brings us this stunning drone video from a remote valley in the mountains of Central Asia.  The Bartang Valley is situated in the eastern third of the republic of Tajikstan, the southeasternmost of the five Central Asian republics born with the dissolution of the USSR in the early 1990's.  The Bartang River rises in the Pamir Mountains to the east, and the valley is located on a westward-flowing stretch of it.  The Partang joins with the Panj River near the border with Afghanistan.
