Taikhar Rock
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Check out this amazing drone video of a famous rock in Mongolia. Taikhar Rock is situated in the Arkhangai, one of the country's 21 provinces (also known as aimags), in the west-central part of this Northeast Asian country. The rock overlooks the Khoid Tamir River, an important waterway in western Mongolia. Standing about 20 meters high (around 65 ft.), the rock is covered in writing (essentially very old graffiti) in 20 different languages. The rock is closely tied to a local legend about a giant snake.
