Seven Summer Stories

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Although small, the state of New Hampshire is largely rural and is home to some of the most beautiful natural scenery in New England. Top AirVuz contributor and pilot PeterBloch created this drone video put together with footage from seven spots across the Granite State: Clark Creek in New London, Blackeyed Susans in Wentworth, Crawford Cemetery in Alexandria, the Wentworth covered bridge, Joe Pye Weed in Sutton Mills, McDaniel's Marsh in Springfield, and Purple Loosestrife in Surrey.

There are seven short chapters to this movie, each one from a different location and a different subject matter. They are tied together by being about summer in New Hampshire. • Clark Creek Sunrise in New London • Blackeyed Susans in Wentworth • Crawford Cemetery in Alexandria • The Wentworth covered bridge • Joe Pye Weed in Sutton Mills • McDaniel's Marsh in Springfield • Purple Loosestrife in Surrey This is a different approach to my movie-making, which usually entails capturing lots of clips of one spot and making a single video just about that location. But I almost always have my drone in the car with me, and sometimes I stop and fly and film for just a few minutes, when the subject matter is intriguing and the light is right. And I am always looking for marshes, fields of wildflowers, sunrise/sunset, or very old cemeteries. A new theme I intend to pursue more is covered bridges. This was all filmed with a Mavic 2 Pro drone, and the music is once again provided by Todd Bauchpies: "Above the Rain." It is amazing how perfect this piece is for this movie!
