ABOVE ~ The Best of 2018

During 2018, I made about 40 individual videos about nature in NH, Florida, and Maine. For the third year, I have compiled my favorite shots into a year-end "greatest hits" movie. It is truly amazing for me to review all thousands of individual clips, and recall these wonderful adventures and visions of beauty. I am endlessly grateful for this late-in-life opportunity to see the world from the awe-inspiring vantage point that the drone offers! And so happy that I have hundreds of viewers who enjoy seeing the world through my eyes. Thank you to one and all! The structure for this five minute movie is remarkably simple: the sequence of 60 clips is almost exactly in the chronological order that they were recorded. Winter, Spring, a trip to Florida, Summer, Autumn and then the circle of the season closes with the beginning of Winter again. This was all filmed with a Phantom 4 Pro and a Mavic 2 Pro, then edited in Final Cut Pro X. The music is by Borrtex, courtesy of FreeMusicArchives.org.
