SUNRISE IN THE LAKE DISTRICT // HELM CRAG
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Check out this stunning sunrise drone video from England's Lake District, compliments of AirVuz contributor and pilot Jakevideo. The video was filmed in the course of a hike to the top of Helm Crag, one of the "fells" or small mountains for which the United Kingdom's second-oldest national park in Cumbria is famous. Rising to a height of 400 meters above sea level (about 1.3k ft.), the rocks at Helm Crag's summit are sometimes called "The Lion and the Lamb" in reference to their distinctive shape.

This place is ideal if you're after a an early morning hike to watch the sunrise! If you are planning on doing this walk I would recommend parking somewhere in Grasmere. From here it takes roughly 45 minutes to an hour to reach the summit. The climb is relatively steep in places but the pathway is easy to follow and takes you right to the top. Cheers for watching!
