Taking the scenic line with @s_f_p_v at the #pulgaswatertemple 😍💦🏛 . The Pulgas Water Temple was built to commemorate the 1934 completion of the Hetch Hetchy Aqueduct. Discontinued in 2004, the temple once flowed with water carried over 160 miles, and originally included a small waterfall within the temple itself, marking the end of the water’s journey at the Crystal Springs Reservoir. The frieze atop the Corinthian columns reads: “I give waters in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people - Isaiah XLIII:XX” . . .
