Postcard from Ameland

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Here's a stunning drone video from one of the North Sea islands of the Netherlands, compliments of former Drone Video of the Week Finalist Active Perspective. Ameland is a mostly sand dune island which is part of a chain of islands called the West Frisians. The video opens with a beautiful shot of the Ameland Lighthouse, also known as Bonrif. Built in 1880, it's one of the principal navigational aids through the West Frisians, which in effect act as a screen to get from the North Sea to the port of Amsterdam.
