Port of Mobile, Alabama 4K

The Port of Mobile, Alabama has a storied history.  Before the US Civil War, it was one of the busiest ports in the world and its cotton exports fueled the Industrial Revolution.  Later, Mobile's port became crucial to Alabama's steel and forest products industries.  Today, the port is amongst the USA's top bulk cargo ports, and amongst the top dozen in the country by overall freight tonnage.  Seen in this drone video by Bumble Bee Productions, the Mobile port also handles containerized cargo and cruise ships.

As a young boy, I have always wanted to be a tub boat captain. I ended up with my captains license but I never skipped a tug. Love busy ports and the Port of Mobile never disappoints... I even had a chance to drone a Cruise ship docked. Austal is the home of the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS).
