Pažaislis Monastery is one of the great cultural landmarks of Lithuania, the small Baltic republic.  Seen in this drone video by contributor slaks_travel, the complex is located in Kaunas, Lithuania's second-largest city, on what is now a peninsula of the Kaunas Reservoir, an artificial lake created in the 1950's by the damming of the Neman River.  Considered one of the best examples of Baroque architecture in the Baltic region, construction of the site began in the 1660's and continued (with some intermissions) well into the 1700's.
