Contributor GordisFPV used a combination of first person view (FPV) racing drone and gimbal-stabilized drone footage to capture the festivities in Lithuania surrounding the 100th anniversary of its independence from Russia in 1918.  The initial period of independence was fairly short-lived; the country was absorbed into the Soviet Union in 1940, occupied by Nazi Germany from 1941-1944, and then endured over 45 more years as a Soviet Republic before becoming independent once again in 1990.
