AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz is one of the 3-4 most important cities in the Upper Palatinate, one of the seven administrative divisions which make up the German state of Bavaria. Seen here in this drone video by contributor Obendrohne, the town is located in a valley of a highland area known as the Franconian Jura. Settled during the Neolithic period, the "modern" version of the town was founded in the early 1100's as a stop on the route between Nuremberg and Regensburg, two of the oldest cities in Bavaria.
