Danger Will Robinson.
The road around west Maui is stunningly beautiful with new sights around every corner. And the drone photography is spectacular.
The Nakalele Point blowhole is one of the must stop, see and photograph locations along the drive (it's an easy drive out and back from Kapalua - the road turns into one lane beyond this and can be a little tricky). The blowhold=ecan be seen from the road, but most people hike at least a short distance down toward the shore.
As you can see the area can be dangerous. Nearly every year someone is killed; they get to close and are litterally swept into the Blowhole or swept off the cliff by a rogue wave.
The point is frequently windy....upwards of 20 mph is common, so caution is required when operating a drone. Although I will say, the Mavic 3 Cine was amazingly steady in the 20+ mph winds.
