Monticello Nuclear Power Plant, Minnesota

Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant is a nuclear power plant located about 45 minutes northwest of Minneapolis, Minnesota.  Built in 1971, its General Electric boiling water reactor produces just over 670 MW of power at its current rated nameplate capacity. One of roughly 60 nuclear plants operating in the United States as of 2019, the Monticello plant is owned by the Minneapolis-based utility company Xcel Energy.  Check it out from above in this drone video by AirVuz contributor gopherdrone.
