Monastery Ostrog

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Ostrog Monastery is one of the most well-known cultural landmarks of Montenegro, the Southeast European country which achieved independence from Serbia in the early 2000's. Built into the side of a giant rock above the Plain of Bjelopavlići near the geographic center of the country, the Serbian Orthodox monastery was founded in the 17th century and underwent substantial renovation in the 1920's.
