Michigan Winter Highline FPV One Shot

Check out this VERY creative one-shot first person view (FPV) drone video by AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot wanderlustfpv_906. The video captures a series of highline artists suspended on a rope above the shores of a frozen Lake Michigan. Watch how the single-shot view captures the surroundings and periodically returns to the highline to see a different person in a different pose each pass. This video was picked for the FPV Pilots to Watch list in May of 2022. The camera used was a GoPro Hero 9.

With 4 different highlines rigged at the first ever Michigan highline gathering, I staged everyone involved to set up the perfect one shot. With yoga on a highline, flying under/over hammocks, and through a crowd of dancing friends, there was a lot to get right with this one. Most important was to make sure each highliner was still standing by the time the drone got to them! Filmed on a 5 inch FPV drone and GoPro Hero 9 in 4k 30.
