Madonna tal-Karmnu - Basilica - Valletta, Malta

Check out this stunning drone video of one of the top sights of Malta, the island nation in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea.  The Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Bażilika Santwarju tal-Madonna tal-Karmnu) was built on the site which had been occupied by a major church since the 16th century.  The current church was completed in 1981.  Its dome stands 42 meters (about 130 ft.) above the city of Valletta, the Maltese capital which sits on its eastern coastline on the country's main (and namesake) island.
