Top contributor and pilot Sergei Pinin created this amazing aerial tour of Karelia, one of the northernmost provinces of Russia. Karelia is located northwest of Lake Ladoga and St. Petersburg. Karelia is home to some of the most iconic looking natural scenery in Russia's Northwest Federal District. The province has a long border with Finland, and parts of it were part of Finland prior to the Russo-Finnish War of 1939-1940. Enjoy the bird's eye views of this stunning northern landscape.
