Le Château de la Barben in South France

The castle of Barben, located between Salon de Provence and Aix en Provence, is one of the most beautiful castles owned by the PACA Region. The famous painter from Aix Marius Granet, who made many trips, wrote "La Barben is the most picturesque and oldest castle in Provence". The location of this castle, located in a grandiose environment overlooking an oasis of greenery with the abundant waters of the Vallon de Maurel and La Touloubre, according to some authors the old Pisavis near which passed the Aurelian way.
