L'Ile d'Aix

Île d'Aix is a commune in the South-West of France, located in the Charente-Maritime department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.

The Île d'Aix is the only true "island" in Charente-Maritime. These neighbors, Île de Ré and Île d'Oléron, are connected to the continent by a bridge.

The discovery of this island is done on foot or by bicycle. Vehicle traffic has been deliberately limited.
