Kamchatka Peninsula
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
For a first upload to AirVuz, new contributor Makhorov brings us this DVOW-winning piece from the Kamchatka Peninsula in Russia's Far Eastern region, between the Sea of Ohotsk and the Bering Sea. Opening with some epic shots of the peninsula's stunning coastline, most of the video was shot in the largely volcano-covered interior of the region. The video includes footage of the Klyuchevskaya Sopka, the highest Eurasian volcano with a peak elevation of about 4.75k meters above sea level (roughly 15.6k ft.).

Let me present you my film about Kamchatka made from the bird's eye view. I got really lucky with some nice shots during my autumn trip to Kamchatka. In this video I've tried to capture the atmosphere of this peninsula with its diverse fauna, relief and volcanoes. Do pay a visit to the spots I've visited, for many of them are truly unique. In the frame you can see Shiveluch volcano which is the most northern and unpredictable volcano on Kamchatka; Kluchevskaya Sopka - the highest volcano of Eurasia; Avachinsky, Koryaksky, Mutnovsky volcanoes and etc; Okhotskoe sea and the Pacific Ocean with Steller sea lions and killer whales. This time I've finally managed to take picture of the latter ones from really good angles. The whales are going to be next. Also I want to notice that you can join me in my trip to Kamchatka. In order to get more detailed information welcome to my web-site makhorov.com. I hope this videoclip will inspire you to visit these spots. As usual if you've enjoyed the video, press likes and share it with one another! This way it will help me to evaluate my work more objectively. All the shots from this video can be purchased in 4K, D-log. Email me: dedmaxopka@gmail.com
