The locations featured include the following: Akaka Falls, which lies within a state park on the island's northern side; the "Warm Ponds" (sometimes called "Hot Ponds") on the eastern side; the off-grid Cocowasi retreat; Rainbow Falls in Hilo; Pahoa, at the island's eastern tip; and Kona on the western side.
