Glasgow Cathedral

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Top contributor seb-depp brings us this fantastic drone video of Glasgow Cathedral, the oldest cathedral in the UK region of Scotland. The cathedral was dedicated in 1197, although much of its structure dates to a major rebuilding which took place during the following century. Dedicated to Saint Mungo, the Glasgow Cathedral is one of the few medieval era churches to survive the Reformation intact. The building is under the control of the Historic Environment Scotland, which manages many of Scotland's most important cultural landmarks.

The St. Mungo Cathedral of Glasgow was the only sight we visited on our lay over at Glasgow Airport and I think the best sight in Glasgow anyway.
