Exploring Peru (with my Mavic Pro)
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
TravelsinSouthAmerica used a DJI Mavic Pro drone to record highlights from a three week trip to Peru in 2017. The video will show you the extent to which there are really "two Perus". The first part of the video features the northeastern part of the country, which is where the mighty Amazon River rises. This is extremely flat country; in the area around Iquitos there is no observable elevation. Move to the second half of the video, and you will see a very different Peru - the land of the mighty Andes Mountains.

I spent 3 weeks in Peru in June, 2017, and was able to do some shooting with my new DJI Mavic Pro drone. Despite only having a few days to practice with it (and no previous drone experience) before leaving, it turned out to be pretty useful and enjoyable while there. The small size and the video quality is just incredible for traveling.
The two things that I did learn that is clear from this video is that I have a lot to learn and that Peru has a lot to offer! The first two weeks were spent in Iquitos area on the Amazon River and the last week was spent in the small town of Caraz up the in the Andes.
This is also the first time I've tried color grading using LUTs so please be patient. I'm not a fan of how it turned out for some of the shots, but I'm still learning.
