Clear Lake, McKenzie River Headwaters

Clear Lake is the headwaters of the McKenzie River. Formed by a lava flow creating a dam and then the lake. The lake is fed by snow runoff that filters through underground caverns for 20 years or so before emptying into the lake. Average Water temperature is around 38F. Located on the Willamette National Forest, Oregon.
