Contributor Seppiolone created this beautiful drone video of the Etruscan city Civita di Bagnoregio in Central Italy. It's situated in Viterbo, one of the provinces which makes up the official Lazio region to the north of Rome. The magnificent and extremely well-preserved town is built on a hilltop plateau, but is vulnerable to collapse due to soil erosion. It dates to 2500 BC, over two millennia before the establishment of the Roman Republic. Depending on the time of year, the town has between 10 and 100 residents.
