The largest Christmas tree in Rio de Janeiro was inaugurated on November 15 in the BarraShopping parking lot. The 55-meter high tree and about one million LED microlights were lit to the sound of "Hallelujah", performed by the Marine Corps Symphonic Band, with special participation of their bagpipes. The city's newest Christmas attraction can be visited every day until 6 January.
