Chain of Rocks Bridge

Spent a little time here with my mom the other day. My parents brought my siblings and I here when we were younger. As we left the bridge area, I noticed a cross as a memorial dedicated to someone who had died. The date was recent, of this year, and so I looked up the name of the individual. After a bit of research, I discovered that the individual had been flying a drone with his son during the winter. The drone had landed/crashed somehow on the icy pond; the father tried to retrieve the drone and ended up drowning. Such a sad story. I had heard about the incident, but had no idea it was so close to where I had been filming the other day.
