Check out this drone video of a fortified town in the northern Italian region of Emilia-Romagna, compliments of content creator and pilot Kingdronematto.  It's called the Castle of Vigoleno and it's in Piacenza, one of the eight provinces of the ER region.  The town dates to the 12th century, when it occupied an important spot on the road to Parma in the neighboring province of the same name.  It's considered one of the best-preserved examples of a medieval era fortified village in the region.
