Carimate Castle (Castello di Carimate) is a well-known castle in northern Italy.  It's situated in a town of the same name in the province of Como, which is part of Italy's Lombardy region.  It was built in the 14th century, on the site of an earlier fortress which had stood here.  In the late 15th century, the Holy Roman Emperor Maximillian I stayed here intermittently for a period of four years.  In this video, you'll get a nice bird's eye view of this landmark, courtesy of contributor.  Alessandro Droneinnovation.
