Thus far in the 21st century, no major American city has changed as much as Miami. As recently as 1984, it didn't have a single building taller than 150 meters (just under 500 ft.), and as recently as 2007 it only had three.  As of the end of 2018, it had four dozen buildings of that height, more than any other US city save New York and Chicago.  These buildings are concentrated on Brickell Avenue south of the downtown center; get a bird's eye view of this amazing spectacle, compliments of contributor Cubanfly.
