Bohinj valley is a basin in the Upper Carniolan region of Slovenia, lying in the northwestern part of the former Yugoslav confederation nation.  The geographically isolated valley (with an ethnically distinctive population) is crossed by the Sava Bohinjka river and is also the site of Lake Bohinj, a very well-known glacial lake.  Contributor Kohlman Aerial filmed this stunning site to gain a bird's eye perspective of the lake and the Julian Alps peaks of Italy and Austria which lie just beyond it.
