Enjoy the list of 5 most beautiful mountain ranges in Europe. Which are your favorite ones - leave in comment. Eastern fjords of Iceland: Unlike the whole of Iceland, this area is very little visited, but incredibly beautiful. You will find here untouched nature and you can observe rare species of birds, reindeer, seals, and if you are lucky enough, you may also see polar fox. Bernese Alps: The Bernese Alps are undoubtedly one of the most beautiful parts of the entire Alps. If you want to see the majestic snow-covered 4,000s, massive glaciers, crystal clear lakes and beautiful villages, you shouldn't miss this mountain range. Worth mentioning is the beautiful village of Grindelwald, the well-known valley with its numerous waterfalls, Lauterbrunnen and Lake Oeschinensee, which is set in massive rocks. High Tatras: A unique mountain range in the north of Slovakia, which is becoming increasingly popular. We completely fell in love with the High Tatras, and definitely deserves a spot in TOP 5 mountain ranges in Europe. The only drawback is that in high season more and more people visit them. Dolomites: Perhaps the most famous mountain range in Europe that every mountain lover must visit. The Dolomites are a unique mountain range that is also included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Prokletije: Very little known mountain range, which is located on the border between Montenegro and Albania. In this mountain range you can enjoy monumental limestone walls and deep valleys. The advantage is that during the entire hiking you meet a minimum of people.
