Amazing Albania

Most of the footage was filmed in and around the town of Gjirokastër, near the country's southern border with Greece. The town's well-preserved center is a UNESCO World Heritage site. You'll also be treated to some particularly good shots of the town's hilltop (namesake) fortress, which overlooks the town and which hosts the Gjirokastër National Folklore Festival every five years.
