Above Scotland // An Aerial Perspective

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Scotland’s wide-ranging natural and architectural beauty are on display in this diverse aerial showcase. The digitaltriangle creative agency braved challenging weather conditions to capture historic Scottish castles, bridges, misty hiking trails, snowy mountains, crashing coastlines, and more. They used two DJI drones - an Inspire 1 and a Mavic Pro - to create this expansive tour of the region, one of the few parts of Great Britain which never came under Roman control.

'Above Scotland' is our second aerial short film which focuses on some of the breathtaking landscapes and architecture across the length and breadth of our incredible country and trying to make the most of the notoriously challenging Scottish weather!
Making this film has required many, many trips to each and every coast and mountain range around the country (even if the footage ended up on the 'cutting room floor'), countless hours of footage, a few scary moments but most importantly, a whole lot of fun!
The film was mainly shot using the DJI Inspire 1 Pro using the Zenmuse X3 and X5 camera systems and for some locations I have started using the DJI Mavic Pro. Edited and graded in Premiere Pro and VFX in After Effects.
