Abandoned casino town
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
During the Covid-19 pandemic, the USA's casino towns were amongst the hardest-hit as social distancing measures caused their main businesses to shut down. This gave rise to the phenomenon of temporary ghost towns. While not actually "bandos", first person view (FPV) mini-drone pilots were able to capture eerie scenes of these empty towns that appear like movie sets. A great example is this piece by AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot Beards_Eye_Vue, who filmed the town of Black Hawk, Colorado shortly before it re-opened for business.

This is the empty casino town of Black Hawk, Colorado. The day after filing this, they finally reopened after being shutdown for just over 3 months due to COVID-19. I've worked and lived in this area for over 25 years and have never seen anything like this. Even when we've had blizzards dump 6-8 feet of snow, people always make it up to the casinos. This may be the first time this town has been this devoid of people. Sure, there's a few that live in town (less than 100), but what's missing is over 6000 casino employees and tens of thousands of casino patrons. Song is Love - www.bensound.com
