The westernmost of the provinces of the Abruzzo region, most of L'Aquila is covered by the Apennine Mountains and their foothills. The video features footage of the stunning Lake Stanno (Lago di Stanno) and some of the mountainous terrain in a nearby nature reserve. It closes with some outstanding shots of the magnificent mountain village of Anversa degli Abruzzi.
