A Glimpse of Siargao Island

Sharing our fun and wonderful experience in the island of Siargao, Philippines. Just a little bit of background, Siargao is an island in the Philippine Sea in the province of Surigao del Norte. It has the largest mangrove forest reserves in Mindanao, surrounding coral reef, vast number of coconut palms and a number of shining white sand bar. I could say that this was one of the best out of town trips we had. Stunning beaches, nice waves for surfing, beautiful sand bars and a few cave activities. But on our 3 full days of adventure in Siargao, we realized that we only had a glimpse of it and 3 days isn't enough to enjoy all the beauty Siargao could offer. And on that 3 days, there is really one thing that really captured our heart...the people. They are one of the kindest, honest and fun people we have ever met. We will definitely come back to Siargao. P.S.
